Li-Hsin obtained her Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, in 2019. Her master’s project focused on integrating systems biology and machine learning methods to predict breast cancer prognosis using gene expression data. In 2020, she began her PhD at the Division of Image Processing (LKEB) at Leiden University Medical Center, under the supervision of Dr. Rob van der Geest. Her research focuses on developing deep learning methods to support cardiac ultrasound image analysis. In 2025, she obtained her PhD and continues the research as a postdoctoral researcher in the same group.
