Nikolai completed his Bachelor and Master in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen. In September 2024 he started as a PhD student at the Biomedical Imaging Group Rotterdam (BIGR) and the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Erasmus MC. His research is part of the AI4AI project focusing on volumetric biomarkers for first trimester pregnancies assessed using 3D ultrasound.
